Borzo to relocate headquarters to India, appoints Alina Kisina as CEO

Borzo (erstwhile WeFast), a global intracity same-day delivery service has announced that the company is moving its headquarters from Amsterdam to Mumbai as India contributes 50% to the revenue and is the largest market.

The last-mile delivery company Borzo has elevated Alina Kisina as the CEO from her previous role of Global VP Sales at Borzo with effect from May 2024. Alina Kisina will be responsible for managing the business across India, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey and Indonesia.

During her tenure as Global VP Sales at Borzo, Alina Kisina significantly contributed to the development of the organization's last-mile delivery service. Reporting to Mike Alexandrovski, Founder and CoB, Borzo Alina Kisina brings with her an impressive 2 decades track record of working in the Logistics and e-commerce industry with a proven history of achieving favourable growth in various markets.

Keeping India as the axis for all of Borzo’s global operations, especially Asia, the shift will help the company expand further and operate efficiently in the emerging economies of the continent. By establishing Mumbai as the central hub, Borzo aims to leverage its capabilities and capitalise on opportunities in India at a larger scale. Currently, Borzo has presence in 22 Indian cities and is focusing on increasing the density of operations in each city.
