BLive Partners with Tata Motors to Deploy 1,000 Electric Mini Trucks
Collaboration inducts Tata Ace Pro EVs under the BLive PRIME franchise model to accelerate last-mile logistics electrification.
Commercial EV platform BLive announced on Wednesday that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tata Motors to deploy up to 1,000 electric mini trucks across India. The partnership begins with the induction of the first batch of Tata Ace Pro EVs into enterprise logistics operations.
The rollout will proceed in phases through BLive PRIME, a franchise-owned, company-operated fleet program that enables entrepreneurs to invest in electric cargo vehicles starting at an initial investment of approximately Rs 45 lakh. Under the model, franchise partners own the vehicles and earn fleet rentals, while BLive handles vehicle deployment, customer demand, charging integration, maintenance, and day-to-day operations.
Sandeep Mukherjee, Founder and CEO of BLive, said, "Our plan to deploy more than 1,000 Tata Ace EVs reflects our ambition to build scale and establish BLive as a leading player in India's Cargo EV segment". "We are pleased to partner with BLive as it expands electric cargo mobility solutions," said Pinaki Haldar, Vice President and Business Head for SCVPU at Tata Motors.
BLive said it plans to deploy these electric fleets across e-commerce, quick commerce, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, warehousing, third-party logistics, and manufacturing sectors.
