BikeWo and Commerce Forever Collaborate to Promote Sustainable Last-Mile Deliveries in Northern India

BikeWo GreenTech Ltd and Commerce Forever have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand electric vehicle-based last-mile delivery operations across Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and nearby areas. The initiative focuses on integrating electric mobility, skill development, and digital tools to support B2B e-commerce logistics.

As part of the agreement, BikeWo will lease between 1,500 and 2,500 electric two-wheelers to delivery partners working within Commerce Forever’s supply chain. The companies aim to reduce around 547 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, lower logistics costs, and enhance job opportunities for rural delivery partners.

To support this, the partnership will establish regional training centres focused on electric vehicle operations, safety protocols, and the use of technology in logistics. The collaboration also involves joint investments in digital platforms to improve rider onboarding, route optimisation, and fleet management.

Manideep Katepalli, Managing Director of BikeWo GreenTech Ltd, said the partnership combines clean mobility, logistics digitisation, and rural skilling into one framework aimed at improving delivery services while enabling employment.

Sanjay Kumar Gupta, Partner at Commerce Forever, noted that the initiative supports the shift toward greener and more efficient delivery networks, while also contributing to local economic development.

With India’s last-mile delivery market projected to reach $6–7 billion by 2027, the collaboration reflects an ongoing trend toward sustainable and technology-driven logistics solutions.
