Ashok Leyland Receives Order for 250 Trucks from Patanjali Parivahan

Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group and a major commercial vehicle manufacturer, has secured an order for 250 trucks from Patanjali Parivahan Private Ltd., a logistics company based in North India.

The collaboration was marked by a formal key handover event, where Sanjeev Kumar, President – Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (MHCV), Ashok Leyland, handed over the first batch of vehicles to Shri Ram Bharat Ji, Founder of Patanjali Parivahan, in the presence of executives from both organisations.

The order includes Ashok Leyland's 1916 haulage trucks, with the initial delivery comprising 25 units. This continues a relationship that started in 2014, when Patanjali Parivahan added 20 Ashok Leyland trucks to its fleet.

According to Sanjeev Kumar, the repeat order reflects ongoing business cooperation and aligns with the evolving transportation needs of logistics operators. He also noted that partnerships such as this support broader improvements in fleet efficiency and service delivery.

Shri Ram Bharat Ji highlighted the company's experience with Ashok Leyland trucks, pointing to the vehicle performance and after-sales support as key reasons for the continued association. He also noted that the expanded fleet would aid the company’s operational goals.

Patanjali Parivahan currently operates a fleet of around 1,000 trucks and is one of the expanding logistics providers in North India. The new order is part of the company’s broader plan to scale its transport capacity.
