AMPL Inaugurates Mahindra’s Largest Dealership in South India at Vijayawada

With an investment of ₹15 crore, the 1.03 lakh sq. ft. integrated 3S facility marks AMPL’s 135th Mahindra outlet, expanding its presence in Andhra Pradesh’s Krishna district.

AMPL Inaugurates Mahindra’s Largest Dealership in South India at Vijayawada

Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited (AMPL), a prominent automobile retail group in India, has inaugurated a new Mahindra dealership in Vijayawada. Located at Enikepadu on Eluru Road, the new facility is AMPL’s 135th Mahindra outlet and is described as the largest Mahindra dealership in South India. The centre has been developed with an investment of ₹15 crore.

Spanning 1.03 lakh square feet, the dealership follows the 3S format, offering vehicle sales, servicing, and spares. It features a showroom capable of displaying 14 Mahindra models, including internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicles, small commercial vehicles (SCV), and last mile mobility (LMM) options. The facility also includes 61 service bays and a fast-charging point, with the capacity to service approximately 28,000 vehicles annually.

AMPL currently operates Mahindra touchpoints in six states: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. In FY 2025, the group sold over 37,000 Mahindra vehicles.

The inauguration event was attended by senior Mahindra officials, including Mr. Pavan Kumar, Vice President - Sales, Customer Care & CX, and Mr. Baneswar Bannerjee, President & National Sales Head. Mr. Rajiv Sanghvi, Executive Director of AMPL, noted that this marks the fifth Mahindra outlet in Krishna district, with two more planned.

AMPL is a long-established automotive retail group with over 75 years of experience. It operates over 720 touchpoints across 20 Indian states and employs more than 18,000 professionals. The company represents 18 automotive brands across various segments and reported a turnover of ₹18,800 crore in FY 2024.
