Olectra Greentech FY26 Net Profit up 29% to ₹179.5 crore
The company delivered 1,280 electric vehicles during the year, up 32% from 972 units in FY25.
Olectra Greentech reported a 29% year-on-year increase in net profit for FY2025-26 at ₹179.53 crore, compared with ₹139.21 crore in the previous financial year, supported by higher electric bus deliveries and growth in its energy business.
Revenue for the year rose 28% to ₹2,312.17 crore from ₹1,801.9 crore a year earlier, while EBITDA increased 27% to ₹352.28 crore from ₹276.32 crore. Profit before tax grew 31% to ₹246.14 crore.
The company delivered 1,280 electric vehicles during the year, up 32% from 972 units in FY25, marking its highest annual EV deliveries since inception. Earnings per share rose 28% to ₹21.62.
For the March quarter, revenue increased 44% year-on-year to ₹644.72 crore, while EBITDA rose 82% to ₹106.2 crore. Quarterly profit after tax jumped 177% to ₹57.39 crore.
The company said cumulative EV deliveries stood at 3,998 units as of March 31, 2026, while its order book was at 10,161 electric vehicles.
Managing Director Mahesh Babu said the company’s performance was supported by growth across its mobility and energy businesses, operational discipline and sustained customer demand. He added that the energy division recorded near doubling of growth over the previous year.
Based in Hyderabad and part of the MEIL Group, Olectra manufactures electric buses and electric tippers for public transport applications in India.
