Amara Raja Names Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan as Chief Business Officer – Automotive
The company has brought on board an experienced executive from Hero MotoCorp to lead business strategy and growth initiatives across India and SAARC markets.
Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited (ARE&M), formerly known as Amara Raja Batteries Limited, has appointed Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan as Chief Business Officer – Automotive (Domestic & SAARC), effective October 27, 2025.
The appointment was disclosed to the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Limited in compliance with SEBI listing regulations.
Radhakrishnan joins ARE&M from Hero MotoCorp, where he served as Head of Business Growth – Emerging Mobility. He brings extensive experience across sales, marketing, and P&L leadership in the FMCG, telecom, and electric vehicle sectors.
In his new role, Radhakrishnan will be responsible for driving the company's business strategy in India and the SAARC region, strengthening brand positioning, and enabling business growth through integrated marketing initiatives.
The new appointee holds a bachelor's degree in technology in Computer Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and a post-graduate degree in Marketing Studies from NMIMS, Mumbai. He has also completed the Digital Business Leadership Program at Columbia Business School, New York.
