Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Reports 10.2% Annual Revenue Growth in FY25, Declares Final Dividend of ₹5.20

Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited (ARE&M), a prominent player in the energy and mobility sector, reported a 10.2% increase in revenue for FY25, with the figure rising to ₹12,405 crore compared to ₹11,260 crore in FY24. The company also declared a final dividend of ₹5.20 per share.

The profit before tax (PBT) for the year stood at ₹1,299 crore, reflecting an improvement over ₹1,211 crore recorded in the previous fiscal. For the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2025, revenue reached ₹2,974 crore with a PBT of ₹224 crore.

According to Executive Director Harshavardhana Gourineni, the year witnessed strong volume growth across automotive categories and continued momentum in UPS applications. However, margins were impacted by increased alloy prices and regulatory changes in solar energy settlements.

Despite a decline in the telecom segment, growth in the industrial UPS business helped balance performance. The company’s allied businesses, such as lubricants, maintained steady growth.

On the innovation front, Executive Director Vikramadithya Gourineni highlighted progress in the New Energy Business, including the construction of Giga Factory-1 in Telangana and near-completion of the Customer Qualification Plant and R&D facility.

Chairman and Managing Director Jayadev Galla noted that while the Lead-Acid battery segment continues to perform well, emerging areas like new energy and allied verticals are developing in line with projections, underscoring the company’s strategic diversification.

Amara Raja’s portfolio includes energy storage solutions, lithium-ion battery packs, EV chargers, automotive and industrial lubricants, and products exported to over 50 countries. Its automotive battery brands—Amaron and Powerzone—are supplied to major automakers and distributed across a pan-India network.
