Volvo Buses has announced an order for 51 multi-axle intercity coaches from VRL Logistics, one of India’s leading bus transport service providers.

The order includes Volvo 9400XL and 9400PX multi-axle models equipped with I-Shift. At present, VRL operates Volvo buses on one of the longest routes in India – connecting Bangalore to Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

While signing the order, VRV Sriprasad, managing director, Volvo Buses, said, “VRL Logistics, with whom Volvo has a longstanding partnership, has been at the forefront of redefining intercity bus travel business in India. We are grateful to the VRL team for placing their trust in Volvo to provide them with the right solutions to provide the best travel experience to their passengers. With this development we will further strengthen our association.”

“At Volvo Buses, while we continue to bring in new technologies and features, our focus on imparting the best training to drivers remains as before. On-road driver behaviour and driving practice can prevent mishaps from happening, which is a crucial first step to a safe journey and safer every day.
