Visteon Expands India engineering operations with new technology center in Bangalore

The center will collaborate closely with Visteon’s global technology centers and will support the company’s development of advanced technologies

Visteon, a global cockpit electronics leader inaugurated its new technical centre in Bangalore recently. Located in Pritech Park SEZ, in Bellandur Village, Bangalore, the new centre was inaugurated by Visteon’s senior vice president, Matt Cole in the presence of SEZ officials, Visteon India leaders and employees.

The centre will collaborate closely with Visteon’s global technology centres and will support the company’s development of advanced technologies such as cybersecurity, Android-based infotainment, AUTOSAR, driver awareness systems and autonomous vehicle technologies for regional and global customer applications.
 
Visteon is experiencing significant growth in key technology areas such as infotainment, cockpit domain controllers and autonomous technology just to name a few," said Cole. "Our new technical centre in Bangalore provides us with access to highly capable resources to deliver the next generation of products that our customers require.”
 
With capacity for 200 employees, the facility also houses state-of-the-art lab facilities supporting infotainment systems, audio, radiofrequency, cybersecurity and driver monitoring systems development.

According to Visteon, there are exciting career opportunities available for engineers with the experience level of four to eight years in the areas of android infotainment, AUTOSAR, C++, computer vision, machine learning, artificial intelligence and security.
