MAN Trucks India likely to set up HQ at VW’s Chakan plant

May 3: MAN Trucks India Pvt Ltd will move out of the Akurdi, Pune campus of its erstwhile joint venture partner Force Motors by the end of June. The company plans to shift into temporary premises in Chinchwad nearby, but is expected to establish its country headquarters within the Chakan premises of Volkswagen India in the medium term. The plant at Pithampur could conceivably be shifted to this location as well eventually.
