While three-wheeler sales rose to 39,000 units in the month, production surged as well indicating the opening up of the economy, the increase in e-commerce business as well as the fact that people are taking to public transport in the form of autorickshaws that are also typically used for school transport.
SIAM’s numbers for the month of August indicate that three-wheelers passenger vehicles have surged.
