Rane NSK Steering Systems bags 2018 Deming Prize

Here’s another confirmation of the improving quality of made-in-India automotive products. The Rane Group has announced that its Rane NSK Steering Systems has been awarded the 2018 Deming Prize.

The Deming Prize, a highly prestigious quality award, is presented annually by the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE) to companies that have achieved distinctive performance benchmarks through the application of Total Quality Management (TQM). The Deming Prize will be formally presented to Rane NSK Steering Systems on November 14 in Tokyo.

The company manufactures steering and suspension systems, friction materials, valve train components, occupant safety systems, die-casting products and provide connected mobility solutions.

The team at Rane NSK Steering Systems and the organisation has built comprehensive quality systems to produce world class products. This award recognizes their process robustness and emphasis on continuous improvement.
