Premium Transmission opens its first service centre in eastern India

The company in association with Rockwell Industrial Services is looking to expand its reach to Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar and east India market.

Pune-based Premium Transmission, a leading player in the industrial gearboxes, geared motors, fluid coupling segment and lift machine is expanding its business in the eastern India and neighbouring countries with the launch of its first service centre in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha in association with Rockwell Industrial Services.

The company says with the new service centre it will reach out to Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar and east India market and also create new employment opportunities in the region. The service centre was inaugurated by Neeraj Bisaria, MD and CEO, Premium Transmission.

The company says the new service centre will act as a one stop solution for its customers, and is capable to cater to the needs of overhauling and reconditioning of gearboxes, geared motors, fluid couplings and lift machine of any make. The innovation led service centre will cater to core sectors like steel power, Oil & gas, Construction and Cement among others.

Premium Transmission says at present it is generating a significant portion of its total revenue from the eastern market. In order to uphold the significance of this market, it has also established one of the manufacturing units in Falta and one development centre in Kolkata. With the launch of this service centre in the eastern region, the company aims to have a 360 degree approach towards its customers in this region.

Speaking at the inaugration Neeraj Bisaria said, “Customer delight is what drives us at Premium Transmission and we have always believed it to be of paramount importance. We intend to provide a one stop solution to our valued customers through this service centre that focus on servicing, repairing and overhauling of industrial gear boxes of any make. As we have a catalogue full of products in various industries now we are focusing on providing end-to-end solutions for power transmission demands in the industry specific or application specific requirements."

Premium Transmission is targeting to become a Rs 700 crore plus company by FY 2020 in terms of sales revenue. The company has plans for increasing the ability to innovate new technology products for upcoming market requirements and capacity addition in their existing facilities.

The company four manufacturing units in India and one in Germany under the name Premium Stephan.
