Montra Electric launches Eviator small CV and cargo 3W at Bharat Mobility Global Expo
The Eviator e-SCV, which has a certified range of 245km and equipped with advanced telematics, is targeted at mid-mile and last-mile mobility operators. The Super Cargo e-three-wheeler has a range of over 200km and a 15-minute full charge option.
The Chennai-based Murugappa Group’s electric vehicle business Montra Electric has diversified into the electric commercial vehicle segment. The company has launched two new products – the Eviator small commercial vehicle (e-SCV) and the Super Cargo e-three-wheeler for cargo transport applications.
The entire leadership team of Montra Electric including chairman Arun Murugappan, vice-chairman Vellayan Subbiah, and managing director Jalaj Gupta were present along with Roy Kurian, business head – 3-wheelers and Saju Nair, CEO, Small Commercial Vehicles.

The Eviator e-SCV, which has a gross vehicle weight of 3.5 tonnes, develops maximum power of 80 kW and torque of 300 Nm. According to the company, the zero-emission Eviator has a certified range of 245km and a real-world range of 170km. It comes with a warranty of up to 7 years / 250,000km and is priced from Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Priced at Rs 437,000 and available with three body types, the Montra Super Cargo three-wheeler is targeted at fleet operators and individual entrepreneurs.
The all-electric Super Cargo three-wheeler, with GVW of 1.2 tonnes, has a range of over 200 kilometres and real-world range of 150 km. It is available in three cargo body types and a 15-minute full charge option. Pricing starts from Rs 437,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Super-Cargo, which facilitates a variety of applications, is targeted at both fleet operators and individual entrepreneurs.
Montra Electric has also displayed its heavy commercial 55-tonne electric truck, the Rhino. According to the company, the Rhino has also clocked over five million kilometres with multiple customers.
