Hyundai’s newest brand ambassador is ace golfer Aditi Ashok
The Arjuna awardee will represent Hyundai in national and international sports tournaments and championships
Hyundai Motor India has appointed top golfer Aditi Ashok as its new brand ambassador for a two-year period. The carmaker, which is looking to enhance its connect with young India, has signed an MoU with Aditi Ashok, the 2020 Arjuna awardee.
Seon Seob Kim, MD and CEO, Hyundai Motor India, said, “It is a moment of great pride for us to announce this association with Ms. Aditi Ashok, one of the youngest and finest golfers in India today. Our association with Ms. Aditi Ashok reflects our brand’s vision to inspire people, especially women in sports to be their true self and stand by their choices. Our commitment towards creating a gateway of opportunities for emerging talent has been a key focus this year. We are consciously advancing in creative formats to craft pathbreaking experiences, through a series of innovative consumer engagement programs”.
As part of the Sports Association, Aditi will represent Hyundai in national and international sports tournaments and championships.
With Aditi Ashok as its brand ambassador, Hyundai Motor India, which earlier this month announced its all-encompassing EV strategy for India and a 6-model rollout by 2028, will be looking to extend its connect to environment- and sporting-conscious youth, both in the country and overseas.
