India-UK FTA Price Cuts Spark Surge in Range Rover SV Enquiries and Bespoke Orders

JLR Global Sales Fall 9.2% in Q1FY27 Amid Middle East Disruption and Supply Shocks
This comes after JLR reported a 9.2 percent year-on-year decline in global sales for Q1FY27, citing market disruptions linked directly to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and supply constraints triggered by a fire at a major component supplier at the start of the quarter.
JLR India Managing Director Rajan Amba stated that the first-quarter performance was anchored by demand for Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, and Defender models. He noted that the trade agreement provides an opportunity to expand distribution of specialized SV variants and customized vehicles in the market, adding that the company maintains a steady product pipeline to support operations through FY27.
