Hero Electric opens new 3S dealership in Pune, dealer network crosses 630 mark
Hero Electric plans to establish 1,000 touchpoints by end-2020.
Hero Electric, India's biggest electric vehicle maker, today opened its new 3S (sales, service and spare) dealership, e-Galaxy Motors - in Pune. With this, the company's dealer network stands expanded to 630, which makes it the largest for an EV OEM in the country.

Our dealer network is highly important to us as they create awareness around electric mobility and its benefits. Hero Electric says that on the day of its inauguration e-Galaxy Motors sold 24 EVs. The dealership will retail the latest offerings from Hero Electric across the low-speed and high-speed category in and around Pune.
The OEM says it plans to take the dealer network count 1,000 touchpoints by end-2020 and make the brand accessible even in the most interior parts of the country. Hero Electric plans to invest aggressively to ramp up production capacity of its electric scooters to 500,000 units annually, with a focus on low-speed scooters for last-mile connectivity over the next three years.
