FADA appoints Saharsh Damani as its first CEO
The Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) appoints Saharsh Damani as its first chief executive officer (CEO) with immediate effect.
The Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) appointed Saharsh Damani as its first chief executive officer (CEO) with immediate effect.
Prior to his new role as the CEO, Damani has contributed his skills and knowledge in various others roles – liaising, M&A, strategy and research. His appointment seeks to drive FADA's work and support the executive committee, the council and the dealer community in seeking solutions for challenges in Auto Retail Industry.
FADA says that Damani’s previous two roles in leading federations including his stint with All India Digital Cable Federation (AIDCF) and Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF), lays testmaent to his proven track record.
Commenting on the appointment, John Paul, president, FADA said, “As major disruptions become the order of the day, and with the auto retail industry in the cusp of some of the most transformative changes since the times of Henry Ford, it is imperative that FADA, as the apex body of automobile dealers association of India, strategise and engage consistently with one and all, to leverage the best possible outcome for the industry. Towards this end, Saharash Damani’s stint with FADA as CEO should definitely take us forward in giant leaps, given his immense talent and career experience, apart from imparting a professional orientation and corporate culture to FADA’s initiatives.”
Damani holds a degree in Accountancy Honours and has done his Masters in Finance (Gold medalist) followed by CFA and MBA (finance and marketing).
