Audi launches Q3 petrol at Rs 27 lakh

February 13 2013: Audi India has launched the Q3 2.0 TFSI Quattro giving buyers a choice of either the 2.0 TFSIq or the 2.0 TDIq diesel version launched in April last year. The Q3 2.0 TFSIq is priced at Rs 27, 37,000, (ex-showroom Maharashtra). Audi India says it completed the first round of 500 bookings of Audi Q3 within just five days of its market launch in June 2012.

Audi launches Q3 petrol at Rs 27 lakh

February 13 2013: Audi India has launched the Q3 2.0 TFSI Quattro giving buyers a choice of either the 2.0 TFSIq or the 2.0 TDIq diesel version launched in April last year. The Q3 2.0 TFSIq is priced at Rs 27, 37,000, (ex-showroom Maharashtra). Audi India says it completed the first round of 500 bookings of Audi Q3 within just five days of its market launch in June 2012.

The Audi Q3 2.0 TFSIq with 155 kW / 211 hp reaches a maximum torque of 300 Nm between 1,800 and 4,900 rpm and develops its power evenly, leading to a fascinating driving experience. In combination with the standard seven speed S tronic, the four-cylinder unit accelerates the Audi Q3 2.0 TFSIq from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds with a top speed of 230 km/h. The start-stop system in 2.0 TFSIq enhances efficiency bringing it to 11.72 km/l. The 2.0 TFSIq engine has been voted the ‘International Engine of the Year’ in its category for five consecutive years by a jury of leading motoring journalists from around the world.

Audi India sold 737 cars in January, a 10.5 percent growth year-on-year (January 2012: 667 cars). Last year, the company sold 9003 as against BMW India which sold 9,375 units. The company plans to expand its network to 34 dealerships by the end of 2013 from its existing 25 centers. It recently opened showrooms in Mumbai South and Lucknow.
