Atul Auto launches CNG Rik autorickshaw in Gujarat

Three-wheeler OEM Atul Auto has launched its new Rik CNG passenger three-wheeler for the Gujarat market. The Atul RIK will be available in three fuel variants: CNG, LPG and petrol.

Some highlights of the new Atul Rik are a semi-digital instrument cluster, stepless entry, and LED tail-lamps. The OEM says the vehicle offers low total cost of ownership. The RIK CNG/LPG variant comes with a 36-months (unlimited km) super warranty.

Atul Auto has a network reach of over 120 touchpoints in Gujarat, which has an extensive extensive CNG fuel network. After April 2021, the company plans to start supplies of RIK across India and some export markets.

According to Niraj Chandra, director, Atul Auto, “Small CNG autorickshaw segment was waiting a stylish and trendy product since many years. We have introduced the Rik with a 360-degree approach, ensuring end-to-end solutions for customers. By introducing Rik, we are sure to gain a good market share in the 0.35-tonne three-wheeler industry.”

Jitendra Adhia, president – Finance, Atul Auto said, “Atul Auto will strongly back Rik CNG/LPG at all locations with Khushbu Auto Finance (KAFL), the NBFC associate concern of AAL along with other retail finance partners.”
