Volvo Cars India inaugurates 23rd dealership

With the new dealership, Volvo Cars now has 23 showrooms in 21 cities across India.

Volvo Cars opens its first dealership in the state of Madhya Pradesh and inaugrated its new showroom the Central Volvo in Indore today.  The latest 3S facility is spread over 18,500 sqft of showroom and service facility located in the automotive hub of Dewas Naka.

With the new dealership, Volvo Cars now has 23 showrooms in 21 cities across India. The Indore facility was inaugurated by  Charles Frump - managing director, Volvo Car India. And the company plans to add another three showrooms in 2018.

Volvo Cars India also introduced the XC40 and its variants for the Indore market priced at Rs 39.9 lakh for the Momentum; Rs 42.9 lakh for the R-Design and Rs 43.9 lakh for the Inscription.

“The market for luxury cars is growing rapidly in Madhya Pradesh and the future is very promising. We believe our presence in this region will help us reach our mid-term goal of doubling our segment share by 2020. I am confident our partner Central Volvo will support us in achieving great success here,” said Charles Frump, managing director, Volvo Car India.

Adding further on the launch of XC40, Charles said, “The Compact SUV segment is the hottest in the luxury car space. With The European Car of the Year – Volvo XC40, we strongly believe we have a winner. The XC40 comes with class-leading radar based safety technology that is unmatched in the segment. It truly raises the bar in the Compact Luxury SUV segment in India.”
