Two-day automotive R&D virtual conference begins
ARAI, Christ University Bangalore and Endurance Technologies have jointly organized the online Global Technical Conference on ‘Automotive R&D’
By 2026, the vision of the Indian automotive Industry is to make India among the top three countries of the world in terms of engineering, manufacturing and export of vehicle and auto components. This will contribute to an increase in India’s GDP and also generate additional jobs in various automotive sectors. A strong automotive research and development capability in the country is imperative for this cause.
With this context, the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), Christ (deemed to be university) Bangalore and Endurance Technologies have jointly organized a 2-day Online Global Technical Conference on “Automotive Research & Development” on May 24-25 2021. Ravindra Kharul, President & CTO, Endurance Technologies is the convenor, while Dr. K. C. Vora, Sr. Deputy Director & Head, ARAI Academy, is the chairman of the conference.
Dr. V Sumantran, Chairman, Celeris Technologies delivered the inaugural address today, and Dr. Reji Mathai, Director, ARAI will give the valedictory address tomorrow.
The online conference’s programme encompasses insightful sessions such as New Product & Technology Development, Innovation, IP rights/patents, Research & Development on 2 & 4 wheeled vehicles, Automotive testing & Validation, Empowering Technology Development in Innovation, Establishing Automotive Ancillary R&D, etc. followed by a wonderful panel discussion on “Enhancing Employability in Automotive R&D” on day 2 of this conference.
Well Known speakers from industries like ARAI, Endurance, Christ (Deemed to be University), Celeris Technologies, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hero, ANAND Automotive Pvt. Ltd., Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor Company, Ather Energy, Tata Motors,Sansera Engineering Ltd, SIAM, TERI, etc. will share their insights and views during their talk.
A panel discussion, on the topic of ‘Enhancing Employability in Automotive R&D’, which is a need of the hour in the industry, will be moderated by Autocar Professional tomorrow, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Autocar Professional is the media partner of this key industry event.
