Nissan to acquire 25% stake in ChargeScape: Report
Nissan will take a 25% stake in ChargeScape, and become an equal investor in the JV that is equally owned by Ford, Honda, and BMW.
Japan's Nissan Motor noted that it will pump money into ChargeScape, and roll out the battery charging technology company's services to its electric-vehicle drivers across the United States and Canada, Reuters reported. It did not reveal the amount.

ChargeScape, whihch offers software and technology to maximise EV battery charging, expects investments from additional automakers in the coming months, Reuters noted.
Nissan's move highlights its borader strategy towards investing in the bi-directional charging technology offered on its Leaf EV, Reuters noted.
