Honda sets production record in N America and Asia in May

Honda Motor Co today announced a summary of automobile production, Japan domestic sales, and export results for the month of May 2015.

While production in Japan for May 2015 saw a year-on-year decrease for the 10th consecutive month (since August 2014), production in markets outside of Japan experienced a year-on-year increase for the third consecutive month (since March 2015). This includes record high production for the month of May in North America and Asia.

Overall production worldwide experienced a year-on-year decrease for the fifth consecutive month (since January 2015).
