British watch brand Omologato to partner Mahindra Racing Formula E Team

Omologato is to become an official partner of the Mahindra Formula E team. The long-term multi-level partnership will begin at the next Formula E race, the Mexico City ePrix, which takes place at the start of April.

The deal will see Omologato branding present on the Mahindra Racing Formula E challenger and on the drivers’ gloves. Omologato will provide clocks for the Mahindra garage and exclusive chronographs for team members to wear over the course of race weekends.

The exclusive Mahindra Racing timepieces will be available for motorsport fans to purchase through the dedicated Omologato website – www.omologatowatches.com.

Bespoke band on the hand
Omologato is known for designing and creating a host of bespoke motorsport inspired timepieces. The partnership will introduce the Omologato brand and its core motorsport enthusiast fanbase to the high-profile world of Formula E. It will also see Omologato and Mahindra Racing partnering at various public events such as #ChronosAndCars – a meeting of car, camera and watch enthusiasts – throughout the year.

The Mahindra Racing Formula E team currently lies third in the team standings, after getting off to an incredibly strong start to the 2016-17 season with its season three challenger, the M3Electro, with two podiums in the first two races from drivers Felix Rosenqvist and former F1 racer Nick Heidfeld.

The FIA Formula E Championship is the world's first all-electric single seater racing series. Showcasing the latest EV technologies, Formula E brings thrilling street racing and a festival atmosphere to the doorstep of fans across the world, as the series races across the world's biggest cities.
