Audi A4 benefits from KYB quality

KYB is strengthening its position as a leading original equipment (OE) manufacturer, and is supplying Audi with two components – a KYB-branded power steering pump and rear shock absorbers – for its new A4. The shock absorbers are designed to provide exemplary vehicle control and roadholding, while the high performance power steering pump will ensure smooth, effortless steering. The new A4 now features Audi’s distinctive single-frame front grille projecting its powerful, sporting pedigree.

Hajime Sato, managing director of KYB Europe says: “Quality performance vehicles such as the A4, require superior quality automotive components, and KYB is committed to using assured technology to produce such innovative products that are purpose designed to meet Audi’s precise needs.”

In addition to the Audi-VW Group, KYB Corporation is an OEM supplier to DaimlerChrysler, Ford, General Motors, Mitsubishi, Nissan, PSA Peugeot Citro?n, Renault and Toyota.

KYB also supplies a number of other automotive aftermarket components alongside its shock absorbers, including coil springs, suspension mounting kits and protection kits. It has developed its aftermarket business throughout Europe, as well as the Middle East and Africa, and has a rapidly growing market share in North America.
