Oben Electric Opens 85th Showroom in Madhya Pradesh
The electric motorcycle manufacturer inaugurated its latest outlet in Damoh with state government officials present, continuing its expansion into tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
Oben Electric opened its 85th showroom in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh on January 14, marking the company's ninth outlet in the state. The inauguration was attended by several government officials, including former Cabinet Minister Jayant Malaiya and Ministers of State Dharmendra Singh Lodhi and Lakhan Patel.
The opening is part of the company's plan to increase its presence in Madhya Pradesh to 25 showrooms by the end of 2026. Currently, Oben Electric operates outlets in cities including Indore, Dhar, Guna, Betul, Harda, Sujalpur, Dhamnod, and Jabalpur within the state.
Nationally, the Bengaluru-based manufacturer has 85 showrooms and service centers across India, with locations in major cities such as Delhi, Kochi, Jaipur, Amritsar, Hyderabad, and Lucknow. The company aims to expand to more than 150 outlets by March 2026.
Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO of Oben Electric, stated that tier-2 and tier-3 markets are becoming significant areas for electric mobility growth. She noted that the company's strategy focuses on building regional sales and service infrastructure to meet demand for its Rorr EZ Sigma model.
The Damoh showroom will display the Rorr EZ Sigma, which is available in two battery variants offering up to 175 km range according to IDC standards. The motorcycle features three riding modes and a top speed of 95 km/h. Prices start at ₹1,29,999, and the model is also available through Flipkart and Amazon.
Each showroom includes an Oben Care service center staffed by technicians trained to service the company's in-house manufactured components. Oben Electric was founded in August 2020 and operates a manufacturing facility in Bengaluru with a production capacity of 100,000 units annually. The company holds more than 25 patents for its technology and components.
