Hyundai Motor India Launches Environment Month Campaign with Customer Incentives

Hyundai Motor India Limited announced a month-long environmental initiative coinciding with World Environment Day, introducing several customer-focused programs designed to encourage sustainable practices. The campaign, running throughout June 2025, includes driving challenges, electric vehicle charging incentives, and water conservation efforts.

The centerpiece of the initiative is the Hyundai Bluelink Championship, a 30-day program that will see the company plant one sapling for every customer who maintains a driving score of 90 or above on the Bluelink app during June. The program targets users of Hyundai's connected car technology and aims to promote responsible driving habits.

For electric vehicle owners, Hyundai is providing 100% cashback on charging expenses made through the Hyundai In-Car Payment system on June 5, 2025. The offer applies to the first 1,000 Hyundai CRETA Electric customers and represents the company's support for India's electric vehicle transition.

The automaker is also promoting water conservation through its Dry Wash campaign at authorized workshops. According to the company, the dry wash method saves approximately 120 liters of water per vehicle compared to traditional washing methods. Customers choosing this service will receive discounts on labor charges on Environment Day.

Additionally, Hyundai is offering Amazon gift vouchers to customers who select Shell Helix Ultra carbon-neutral engine oil during service appointments at authorized workshops. The vouchers can be claimed through the myHyundai mobile application.

Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer at Hyundai Motor India Limited, stated that sustainability represents a core company value rather than a single-day focus. He emphasized the company's commitment to empowering customers to take meaningful environmental actions through responsible driving, vehicle care, and electric mobility adoption.

Hyundai Motor India Limited, established in 1996, operates from its headquarters in Gurugram, Haryana. The company has positioned environmental consciousness as part of Hyundai's global "Progress for Humanity" vision, engaging customers as participants in sustainability efforts.

The Environment Month campaign reflects broader industry trends toward corporate environmental responsibility and customer engagement in sustainability initiatives. India's automotive sector has increasingly focused on electric vehicle adoption and environmental programs as the country works toward its climate commitments.
