Ashok Leyland Domestic Wholesales Up 3% YoY in January

Within the M&HCV segment, truck sales increased  by 3% to 7,839 units during January.

Ashok Leyland Domestic Wholesales Up 3% YoY in January

Chennai-based  Ashok Leyland reported  that its  total domestic wholesales for its commercial vehicles in January 2025 stood at 15,327 units, an increase of 3% in comparison to 14,899 units during the corresponding month of the previous year.

The M&HCV segment witnessed an increase of  4 % to 9864 units during January 2025, as against 9455 units in January 2025. Furthermore, within the M&HCV segment, truck sale volumes increased  by 3% to 7839 units during January 2025, when compared against 7581 units recorded in January 2024.  Likewise, in the buses segment, the jump stood  at 8% to 2025 units in January 2025, compared to the 1874 units in January last year. 

Secondly, in the LCV category, the company witnessed  a flat growth  at 5463 units in January 2025 as against 5444  units during the comparable period.
