Pricol launches new products

Pricol, which has long been a global supplier of systems and components like instrument clusters, is making some fast moves into product diversification.

Taking a cue from the growing market needs and drastic changes currently taking place in the automobile industry, Pricol has introduced a plethora of products and various applications including a centralised lubrication system, road speed limiter, vehicle monitoring system, fuel management systems, and programmable speedometer with LCD odometer.

For two-wheelers, it has a host of parts including disc brakes, timing chain tensioners and secondary valves. The newly set-up Pricol Technologies, which offers a wide range of engineering services from design through till manufacturing stage, is in talks with a few automotive engineering and allied services companies in the US for possible acquisition.

Meanwhile, Xenos, Pricol’s marketing arm, has also come out with a slew of new products targeted at car users. Hitherto it dealt with only security systems for automobiles but now it has expanded operations into a number of vehicle-related fields — safety and security, convenience, infotainment, aesthetics and beautification, and performance products.

Under the safety and security category, it has a centre locking system, gear lock, reverse parking assistance, tyre pressure monitor, and wheel nut with special key. In the convenience segment, there are window films, power windows, high intensity discharge kits for headlamp, clock, and passenger information display.
