Volkswagen Truck & Bus is to be renamed as the Traton Group as part of a strategic drive to ride the new era of transportation. The company's MAN, Scania, Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus and RIO brands will retain their brand identities under the Traton Group umbrella brand. The official name change is expected to be effective by Q3 2018.
