Ajit Dalvi has been in the publishing field since 1981. Trained as a copy editor, he has been at the forefront of leading automotive magazines in India. Since September 1999, he has been part of the team that started Autocar India and then What Car? India. From September 2007, he has been the managing editor of Autocar Professional. The quest for excellence and kaizen  (continuous improvement) is what drives him.
