Women are increasingly reshaping India’s automotive manufacturing landscape at JSW MG Motor India’s Halol plant. In this conversation with Autocar Professional’s Prerna Lidhoo, Biju Balendran, Deputy Managing Director at JSW MG Motor India, explains how greater female participation on the shopfloor is improving collaboration, precision and overall workplace culture.

With women now accounting for around 40% of the workforce at the Halol facility, the discussion explores how diverse teams enhance precision-driven manufacturing tasks, while also challenging long-held perceptions about women working in areas such as the body shop.
