In this exclusive conversation with Autocar Professional’s Hormazd Sorabjee, Harshavardhan Chitale, Chief Executive Officer, Hero MotoCorp, discusses the company’s outlook for the two-wheeler industry, its premiumisation strategy, EV growth and international expansion.

Chitale expects the two-wheeler industry to grow at a mid- to high-single-digit rate as the base effect from GST-led demand comes into play. He also reveals that Hero MotoCorp is planning nearly half a dozen premium motorcycle launches this year, while significantly expanding its premium retail network and investing in a dedicated premium business unit.
