Zypp Electric appoints Parag Raheja as Executive Vice President
Before joining Zypp Electric, Parag served as Vice President at Spinny, where he launched and scaled the luxury car vertical, Spinny Max and also managed Spinny’s Pan-India offline supply and B2B partnerships.
Zypp Electric, an EV as a service platform, has appointed Parag Raheja as Executive Vice President. He will spearhead fleet operations and rider experience functions for the company.
Before joining Zypp Electric, Parag served as Vice President at Spinny, where he launched and scaled the luxury car vertical, Spinny Max and also managed Spinny’s Pan-India offline supply and B2B partnerships.
Parag Raheja's appointment at a time when the company that aims to drive last mile logistics, has been strengthening its leadership team. Last year, it onboarded Rahul Yadav as Vice President of Technology, appointed Ricky Singh as the Senior Vice President of E2W operations, Sudhir Sharma as Senior Vice President of Finance, and Sudipto Shome, as the Vice President of E3W Operations.
Akash Gupta, Co-founder and CEO of Zypp Electric said, "Parag’s strategic acumen and operational expertise will drive our ambitious growth trajectory."
Parag noted that he looked forward to building India’s largest EV-as-a-Service platform. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, and an MBA from MDI, Gurgaon.
The company, which raised USD 15 million in Series C funding last year, targets scaling its fleet size to 500,000 e-bikes in the next five years.
