MapmyIndia Mappls has integrated India Post's DIGIPIN system into its flagship Mappls App, creating India's first comprehensive digital address system that enables users to generate unique digital addresses for any location across the country.

The integration allows users to create precise, universally recognized Digital Pins through the Mappls App, addressing last-mile connectivity challenges that have historically affected delivery services and location identification in India. The collaboration combines MapmyIndia's mapping technology with India Post's standardized addressing system to provide a unified platform for digital location services.

The partnership represents a bilateral integration effort, with MapmyIndia embedding India Post's DIGIPIN system into its application while India Post incorporates MapmyIndia's mapping APIs into its own systems. DIGIPIN operates as a 10-character code system that provides 3.8-meter by 3.8-meter grid accuracy for location identification.
