Volvo Group Consolidates Mining Operations Under Volvo Mining

Volvo Group announced that it will establish a dedicated business entity named Volvo Mining to consolidate its portfolio and operations for the mining sector. The company said that the new structure will launch on January 1, 2027.

Volvo Mining will oversee global product and service management for the mining segment and manage cross-group research and development projects.

Operations will initially focus on customers and contractors across Sweden, Norway, and Finland, before expanding into other international markets.

Melker Jernberg, President of Volvo CE, said, "Mining has been an important part of the Volvo Group for decades, but the industry's growing significance calls for an even greater level of focus. With Volvo Mining as our center of expertise, we are combining capabilities from across the Group to further enhance customer value in collaboration with our retail partners."
