Volkswagen inaugurates two customer touchpoints in Uttar Pradesh

Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has inaugurated two new customer touchpoints in Prayagraj and Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, bringing the company's brand presence in states to 14 sales and nine service facilities. 

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said, "We have been witnessing a shift in the demand landscape, with Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns contributing 35-40% to our sales, we are also focusing strongly towards these emerging growth markets." 

"Our forward-looking approach acknowledges this shift and aims to leverage the growth potential in these demand clusters," he added. 

The Prayagraj touchpoint features a three-car display showcasing the Volkswagen Virtus and Taigun; as well as Tiguan. It is also equipped with a separate workshop that features eight service bays, the press release noted. 

The dealership in Meerut operates as a sales-only city store with a four-car display. The Meerut City Store offers Express Service, Volkswagen Assistance and Mobile Support Unit via a separate facility in Moradabad.
