Vingroup launches VinRobotics to advance automation and AI solutions

VinRobotics, with a charter capital of VND 1,000 billion, will focus on developing intelligent robotic products and solutions to enhance production efficiency and serve industries both within and beyond the Vingroup ecosystem.

Vingroup launches VinRobotics to advance automation and AI solutions

Vingroup has announced the creation of VinRobotics Research, Development, and Application Company with a charter capital of VND 1,000 billion. The new entity aims to improve production efficiency and streamline processes across various industries, services, and everyday applications.  

VinRobotics has been approved by Vingroup's Board of Directors, with the group's ownership structure comprising Vingroup holding 51% of shares, Pham Nhat Vuong contributing 39%, and Pham Nhat Quan Anh and Pham Nhat Minh Hoang each holding 5%. Ngo Quoc Hung has been appointed CEO of the company.  

The company will focus on research, development, and technology transfer in areas such as automation, industrial robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI). It will specialize in designing and integrating intelligent robotic products to enhance production processes and improve efficiency in industries, services, and daily activities.  

VinRobotics also aims to create business applications that help optimize processes and increase productivity. The company plans to serve clients within and beyond the Vingroup ecosystem, extending its services to other key economic and industrial sectors.  

The company's broader vision includes becoming a prominent provider of high-tech products and solutions in Vietnam and the region. Ngo Quoc Hung, CEO of VinRobotics, stated that automation products and solutions with advanced intellectual value can contribute positively to societal and economic development.  

Globally, the field of automation and industrial robotics is expanding rapidly, driven by advancements in artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and other cutting-edge technologies. Intelligent robots are increasingly integrated into production lines and everyday life, particularly within the context of the ongoing 4.0 industrial revolution.  

The establishment of VinRobotics represents a significant step in expanding Vingroup’s high-tech industrial ecosystem. This initiative aligns with Vingroup’s three core business pillars: Trade and Services, Social Enterprise, and High-Tech Industry. In addition to its automotive efforts led by VinFast electric vehicles, Vingroup has also been active in smart technologies, including artificial intelligence and big data through its brands such as VinBigdata, VinAI, and VinBrain.
