Varroc Engineering Names Eric Hamon as Chief Technical Officer
Automotive technology executive brings 25 years of global experience in electric powertrains and software systems to lead engineering organization.
Automotive component supplier Varroc Engineering Limited has appointed Eric Hamon as Chief Technical Officer, effective August 3, 2026, to oversee its technology strategy and global R&D operations.
Reporting Structure and Key Responsibilities
Hamon joins the company with over 25 years of global automotive technology and engineering leadership experience across electrification, electrical and electronics systems, software-defined vehicles, connected mobility, functional safety, and cybersecurity. In his new role, he reports directly to Arjun Jain, Whole Time Director and Chief Executive Officer of Business I at Varroc. His responsibilities cover directing technology roadmaps, optimizing product portfolios across electrified powertrains and connected systems, and advancing engineering industrialization.
Prior Experience at Valeo E and Strategic Fit
Prior to joining Varroc, Hamon served as Director of E Axle and System Platforms at Valeo E, where he managed product strategy for electric axle platforms. The appointment aligns with Varroc's broader technology focus as the Tier-1 group continues to expand its e-mobility and advanced electronics offerings.
