Varroc Appoints Padmanabh Sinha as Independent Director

Varroc Engineering Ltd, a global Tier-1 automotive supplier, has appointed Padmanabh Sinha as an Independent Director on its Board of Directors, effective July 18, 2025. The appointment was announced to reinforce the company’s governance and strategic direction.

Sinha brings over two decades of experience in private equity and technology entrepreneurship, having held leadership roles at NIIF, Temasek, and Tata Opportunities Fund. He currently serves as Managing Partner and Co-founder of LaunchBay Capital, a growth-stage private equity platform focused on mid-market Indian businesses.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from BITS Pilani, an MBA from IIM Calcutta, and has completed the Executive Development Program in Private Equity at Harvard Business School.

Varroc Engineering Ltd, incorporated in 1988, manufactures and supplies automotive components including e-mobility, lighting, body systems, and advanced electronics. In FY25, the company reported ₹81,718 million in income from continued operations and employs over 6,100 people across 37 global manufacturing facilities and 7 R&D centres.
