Tata Power deploys 850 plus charging points for e-bus charging network
While Delhi leads in e-bus presence utilising Tata Power's EV Charging points, it is followed closely by Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Jammu, and Srinagar.
Tata Power's subsidiary Tata Power Renewable Energy has deployed more than 850 charging points in 30 plus bus depots across Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Jammu, Srinagar, Dharwad, Lucknow, and Goa.
Tata Power has enabled more than 2300 public e-buses nationwide, the press release noted, adding that the charging network has led to the saving of over 1 lakh tonnes of tailpipe Co2 emissions.
Tata Power Renewable's charging infrastructure boasts high-capacity fast chargers with a range of 180 - 240 KW with average charging time being of 1 to 1.5 hours. Rapid charging capabilities support the demanding operational needs of public transport buses.
