Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Records 59,199 Unit Sales in November 2025
Company registers 25.6% year-on-year growth with domestic and international sales.
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. sold 59,199 units in November 2025, marking a 25.6% increase from 47,117 units in November 2024, the company announced on Sunday.
Domestic sales, including electric vehicles, reached 57,436 units in November 2025, up 22% from 47,063 units in the same month last year. International business sales stood at 1,763 units compared to 54 units in November 2024, representing a 3,164.8% growth.
The company's electric vehicle sales across domestic and international markets totaled 7,911 units in November 2025, a 52.1% increase from 5,202 units in November 2024.
The November sales figures follow Tata Motors' strong October performance, when the company recorded 74,705 unit registrations according to Vahan data, securing the second position in India's passenger vehicle retail sales. The October registrations represented an 82% month-on-month increase from September's 41,151 units.
In October, Tata Motors outsold Mahindra & Mahindra by 7,905 units and Hyundai by 9,660 units in retail sales, maintaining the second-place position it first reclaimed in September 2025 after an intense competitive battle.
The company's retail performance during the festive season benefited from the GST 2.0 reforms implemented in September, which reduced taxes on smaller cars to 18% from 28%. For Tata's Nexon model, this translated to savings of up to ₹1.55 lakh, along with additional benefits of around ₹45,000.
Tata Motors' product lineup spans entry-level hatchbacks to mid-size SUVs, with models including Nexon, Punch, Tiago, Harrier, Safari, and the recently launched Curvv. The company continues to dominate the electric vehicle segment with approximately 40.9% market share in the passenger EV space as of August 2025.
The sales figures include sales of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, a subsidiary of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd.
