Tata Motors Launches Ace Pro Mini-Truck Starting at ₹3.99 Lakh

Tata Motors Launches Ace Pro Mini-Truck Starting at ₹3.99 Lakh

Tata Motors has launched the Ace Pro, a four-wheel mini-truck priced starting at ₹3.99 lakh, positioning it as India's most affordable vehicle in this category. The company described the launch as targeting a new generation of entrepreneurs in the small cargo mobility segment.

The Ace Pro is available in three variants: petrol, bi-fuel (CNG + petrol), and electric:

  • Petrol: 694cc engine producing 30 bhp and 55 Nm of torque
  • Electric: 38 bhp motor with 104 Nm torque and 155 km range per charge, featuring IP67-rated battery and motor
  • Bi-fuel: CNG mode delivers 26 bhp and 51 Nm, with 5-liter petrol backup tank

The model offers a payload capacity of 750 kg with a 6.5-foot (1.98-meter) deck. The vehicle comes with factory-fitted load body options including half-deck or flatbed configurations. It features a high-strength chassis designed for heavy load applications and is compatible with container, municipal, and reefer body installations.

Customers can book the vehicle at any of Tata Motors' 1,250 commercial vehicle sales locations nationwide or through FleetVerse, the company's online sales platform.

The vehicle includes a crash-tested cabin compliant with AIS096 standards, ergonomic seating, digital instrument cluster, and optional infotainment system. The Ace Pro integrates with Tata Motors' Fleet Edge connected vehicle platform, which has over 800,000 registered vehicles and provides real-time vehicle health monitoring, driver behavior analysis, and predictive maintenance alerts.

Driver assistance features include Gear Shift Advisor and Reverse Parking Assistance for navigation in urban and rural environments.

"The launch of Tata Ace had revolutionized cargo mobility in India. Over the past two decades, it has successfully empowered more than 25 lakh entrepreneurs," said Girish Wagh, Executive Director at Tata Motors. "With the all-new Tata Ace Pro, we are building on this legacy with renewed purpose for a new generation of dreamers."

Pinaki Haldar, Vice President and Business Head for Small Commercial Vehicle Passenger Utility at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, noted that the Ace Pro underwent testing across various terrains and weather conditions, covering extensive distances during development.

Tata Motors has partnered with banks and non-banking financial companies to offer financing solutions including quick loan approvals and flexible EMI options. The company provides support through over 2,500 service and spare parts outlets nationwide, supplemented by the Star Guru network in remote areas.

For electric variants, Tata Motors offers EV-specific service centers and 24x7 roadside assistance programs. The company positions the Ace Pro as suitable for diverse applications including last-mile delivery, municipal services, and small business transportation needs.

Tata Motors, part of the $165 billion Tata Group, reported revenues of $44 billion and is India's market leader in commercial vehicles and among the top three in passenger vehicles.
