Sonalika Tractor Distributor Sets Guinness World Record in Bangladesh
ACI Motors Limited achieved the largest single-day tractor delivery by handing over 350 Sonalika tractors in four hours at a ceremony in Dinajpur, Bangladesh.
ACI Motors Limited, the Bangladesh distributor for Indian tractor manufacturer Sonalika, has entered the Guinness World Records for completing the largest tractor delivery in a single day. The company delivered 350 tractors in just four hours during an event held recently in Dinajpur.
The record-breaking ceremony, organized under the theme "Sonalikar Bisshojoy," celebrated the partnership between Sonalika Tractors and ACI Motors Limited, which spans 18 years.
Dr. Deepak Mittal, Managing Director of International Tractors Limited, Sonalika's parent company, commented on the achievement, stating that each Sonalika tractor represents Indian engineering expertise and serves farmers globally. He described the record as a tribute to farmers and partners who have supported the company's growth.
Gaurav Saxena, Director and CEO of International Business at International Tractors Limited, noted that the record demonstrates the alignment of trust, customer focus, and purpose. He emphasized Sonalika's commitment to advancing agriculture through innovation.
Sonalika Tractors has maintained the leading position in Bangladesh's tractor market for over five years, holding more than 50 percent market share. The company exports tractors ranging from 30 to 75 horsepower to Bangladesh, customized for local agricultural requirements.
The tractors are manufactured at Sonalika's integrated facility in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, which produces one tractor every two minutes. Sonalika ranks as India's top tractor exporter.
