Sonalika registers record monthly sales of 20,056 tractors in October
Sonalika's retail tractor sales in October were recorded at 7,983 units, as per the FADA data.
Sonalika Tractors achieved its highest-ever monthly sales of 20,056 units in October. following a peak festival season and discounts.
'We are thrilled to have surpassed all previous monthly records with an outstanding 20,056 tractor sales, marking a proud moment shared with our farming community,” Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director of International Tractors Ltd (Sonalika & Solis), said .
Punjab-based Sonalika is a major tractor manufacturer in India with a share of around 13.5% in the domestic market. The company is a top tractor exporter from India, with a tractor export market share of around 34% in the country.
Unlike the previous year, this year, October was packed with major festivals and auspicious days such as Navratri, Diwali, and Dhanteras. The festival season is of much significance to automakers as consumer spending is high during this time.
“During the biggest festive season, the company’s annual ‘Heavy Duty Dhamaka’ offer assured advanced tech-powered tractors at reasonable prices for farmers,” the company said.
As per the FADA data, Sonalika's (International Tractors Ltd) retail tractor sales were 7,983 units in October. The dealers’ association noted that urban areas saw better growth than rural during the month.
