SJS Enterprises Partners with BOE Varitronix for Automotive Display Manufacturing

S.J.S. Enterprises Limited has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Hong Kong-based BOE Varitronix Limited to develop automotive display manufacturing capabilities in India. The partnership was disclosed to stock exchanges on September 16, 2025, in compliance with regulatory requirements.

The MoU outlines plans for BOE Varitronix to transfer technology to SJS Enterprises for establishing assembly and optical bonding operations for display screens. The collaboration specifically targets the four-wheeler automotive market in India and includes provisions for localizing cover glass and backlight units.

Under the agreement's terms, both parties have committed to mutual exclusivity for a six-month period, with the possibility of extension through mutual consent. The arrangement may evolve into a formal Technical Assistance Agreement or Joint Venture, subject to successful feasibility studies and regulatory approvals.

SJS Enterprises, traded on NSE under the symbol "SJS" and on BSE with scrip code 543387, has indicated it will provide additional disclosures as material developments occur. The company confirmed that BOE Varitronix is not related to its promoter group and that the transaction does not constitute a related party arrangement.

The partnership represents SJS Enterprises' strategic move to enhance its capabilities in the automotive display sector, leveraging BOE Varitronix's technological expertise to serve the growing Indian automotive market. The collaboration aligns with India's push toward increased localization in automotive components and advanced manufacturing capabilities.

Both companies will conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of the proposed manufacturing operations before proceeding with formal agreements. The arrangement does not currently involve any share issuance or board representation changes for either party.
