Schaeffler India appoints Hardevi Vazirani as Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler India has pointed Hardevi Vazirani as Director of Finance, and Chief Financial Officer, effective February 13, 2024. In this position, Vazirani will succeed Satish Patel, who is retiring from the company on February 12, 2024, after a career spanning three decades.
Vazirani has held various leadership roles in Schaeffler across Asia Pacific and India. She has led several large programmes in the region including the post-merger integration of India entities.
She was based in Singapore, in her most recent role as the Vice President of Strategy, Asia Pacific. Besides various other strategic projects in that region, she led the implementation of project “Roadmap 2025” for the APAC region.
In her new role, she will report to Harsha Kadam, CEO and Managing Director, Schaeffler India. She is a Certified Accounting Specialist from the Accovalist Institute Germany and has completed several management programmes from INSEAD, Dukes, and IIM Bangalore.
Speaking on the appointment, Sumithasri Eranti, Chairwoman, Board of Directors, Schaeffler India said, “Hardevi is someone who comes with proven credentials to take on this role with the India management.
