Revolt Motors Enters Nepal Market in Partnership with MV Dugar Group

Revolt Motors, India's electric motorcycle company, has announced its entry into Nepal, marking its second international market after Sri Lanka. The company will open its first Revolt Hub in Kathmandu in April 2025 through a partnership with MV Dugar Group, a company with 140 years of history and 52 years in Nepal's automobile industry.

The Kathmandu outlet will showcase Revolt's entire product range, including the RV400, RV400 BRZ, RV1, RV1+, and the recently launched RV BlazeX. Customers will have access to accessories, branded merchandise, and after-sales service through fully equipped service stations at all dealership locations.

Revolt plans to establish fifteen showrooms across major Nepalese cities within the next 3-4 months to expand customer access to its electric mobility solutions.

"Nepal is a key strategic market for Revolt Motors, given its strong push for clean energy and growing demand for sustainable mobility," said Anjali Rattan, Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises Limited. "Its unique topography, where motorcycles are a preferred mode of transport, presents an opportunity to introduce our electric motorcycles."

Moti Lal Dugar, Chairman of Dugar Brothers & Sons Pvt Ltd, stated, "We are partnering with Revolt Motors to introduce their electric motorcycles in Nepal. As awareness for eco-friendly transportation grows, we believe Revolt's motorcycles will resonate with Nepalese customers."

The company will implement training programs for dealership and service personnel and introduce promotional offers to encourage early adoption. Revolt has indicated plans to expand to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa in the future.

Founded in 2017, Revolt Intellicorp has positioned itself in India's electric vehicle sector with its AI-enabled motorcycles. The company produces electric motorcycles and supplies genuine parts and accessories through authorized dealerships.

Nepal has been increasing its focus on electric vehicles in recent years as part of broader environmental initiatives and to reduce dependence on imported fossil fuels. The country has implemented policies to encourage electric vehicle adoption, including reduced taxes and duties compared to conventional vehicles.
